The Supermarine Spitfire was a British single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied forces before, during, and after World War II. It’s one of the most iconic warplanes in history, known for both its stunning design and impressive combat capabilities.

The XFly Spitfire is a scale model of this legendary aircraft, based on the famous Mk.IX variant. With a 1200mm wingspan, it’s made from durable EPO foam and comes in two authentic matte finishes. The model faithfully recreates the Spitfire’s classic shape, with realistic details like a 4-blade propeller, accurate canopy, pilot figure, exhaust stacks, cannons, and retractable landing gear.

The model’s large battery hatch fits a 4S 2600-4000mAh LiPo battery, giving you a range of flight times. The combination of a 3541-KV745 motor and a 40A brushless ESC offers plenty of power and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio for a satisfying flying experience. Metal landing gear with shock-absorbing struts and electric retracts ensures great handling on the ground. The model features four-panel split flaps, making take-offs and landings smoother, just like the real Spitfire. Bright LED wingtip lights improve visibility and add realism.

You can choose between two versions: the brown desert edition, seen in combat in North Africa and the Mediterranean around 1943, or the green D-Day invasion version from 1944, flown by Canadian ace Johnnie Johnson. Whatever you pick, this iconic model is sure to impress at your flying field!
