Powered by a 6S-compatible Hobbywing ESC and a 2000KV 4274 brushless motor, the DR8 can reach speeds of up to 62mph (100km/h) – if you can find somewhere big enough to let it rip!
It’s built to handle the rough stuff too, with a rugged 3mm aluminium chassis, 5mm thick shock towers, and tough moulded suspension arms. The 4WD drivetrain features sealed, oil-filled metal differentials and a hardened steel spur gear – making the DR8 tough, durable, and ready for action.
Handling is just as impressive, with fully adjustable pivot ball suspension, anti-roll bars, and big bore oil-filled shocks for race-like stability across any terrain.
The FTX DR8 looks the part too, with a scale-style moulded roll cage, realistic interior, and front and rear LED light bars to finish off that desert racer vibe.
All you need is a 4S or 6S LiPo battery (XT90) and a charger – and the confidence to control it!
